Today I went to L.Bryant to go and get some new bras. I have a musical I am attending this weekend with Princess (Legally Blonde! Yay!) and I needed new bras to go with my new clothes.
I love L.Bryant because their bras are comfy and the people who work there are always very kind and helpful. So today I went in and told the woman that I had lost some weight (30 lbs and counting) and needed to be fitted again. No problem.
The good news? I have gone down 4 inches in my bust line. That's insane right?! I love it!
The weird news? I have gone UP 3 (count them, 3!) cups sizes. I guess with every inch you lose around, your boobs are considered one cup size bigger.
Uh, yeah.
So, today I went from a 42C to a 38 DDD. DDD in one style bra, DD in another, go figure. ( Also, I hate sharing how fat I am, but I had to do it to get my point across.) How strange is that? Has anyone else ever experienced this? I am dumbfounded, but my bras fit great! The woman mentioned that I may have not been fitted correctly last time I was there, and/or that I am losing in my bust line but not actually losing my breasts. Which would be great, because then when I am thinner my boobs will look HUGE! :) She is a nurse at the hospital in the next town over, so I felt comfortable knowing that she might have some more knowledge on the human anatomy than most.
Total weight lost: 30+ lbs. No sigificant loss in the last 2 weeks. Boo.
Goals? Get to the gym at least 2 times next week and keep up with yoga at home. Also, walk to get Princess from school 2 times.
Good luck to everyone!

I love LB bras. They're the only kind I wear but sadly, no matter how much I weigh, even after having a baby, I've always had small boobies. Sigh.
I lost about 45 pounds toward the end of college and then some more before my wedding. I was always a 36C. After the weight loss I was a 34D. I had assumed that I would be a 34C, but nope those are way too small. When I got fitted at Victoria's Secret they told me I was a 36B - ha - I couldn't even get a boob in that cup. An older woman was working there, came into the dressing room and said "sweetie you need a 34D" - she was good!
I HATE bra shopping! It's up there with bathing suit shopping...
30 pounds is GREAT! WTG!
